Taj Mahal Tour by Train: The schedule is fixed and cannot be altered due to train’s fixed departure.
06:30 - Pick up from Hotel
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Delhi/Gurugram and drop you at Nizamuddin Railway station in a private AC car to board the Luxury Express Train, Gatimaan Express following a 1 hour and 40 minutes journey to Agra Railway Station. On-Board Catering Included.
10:00 - Arrival in Agra - Taj Mahal
Exit Agra Cantt. Railway Station after de-boarding the train and our tour guide and driver will see you outside the gate with your name sign. It’s the time to visit the magnificent Taj Mahal, commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, to house the tomb of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
12:30 - Agra Fort
Back from the Taj Mahal, it’s the time to visit Agra Fort with your tour guide, the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty till 1638, when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi.
13:30 - Lunch Break
Too much of walking on an empty stomach? A delicious buffet lunch is waiting for you. Give a boost to your taste buds by savoring an assortment of soups, starters, salads, main course and loveable desserts at one of the finest restaurants in a 5-Star Hotel.
14:30 - Pietra Dura Demonstration
Proceed for a quick Marble In-Lay Demonstration, also known as Pietra Dura and other shopping from local market. Please be informed that in such places you have an opportunity to witness the local art techniques along with an option to purchase their finished products.
15:00 - Payment, if due
After the sightseeing tour, visit TMA's local office and make your balance payment and share your feedback about the tour over a coffee with your operator.
15:30 - Mehtab Bagh
Later, visit the Mehtab Bagh to view the Taj Mahal from across the river, also famous as the Sunset point. After the visit, the driver and tour guide will drop off you at Agra Railway Station to board the same train back to Delhi. On-Board Catering Included.
19:30 - Arrival in Delhi
By this time you will reach Delhi. See your driver at the exit gate who will drop you off at the same pick up location or the location of your choice.
